Thomas E. Malloy
Professor Thomas E. Malloy is a social psychologist with an interest in interpersonal and intergroup relations. He directs the Social Relations Laboratory at Rhode Island College. The photo above was taken in Copenhagen, Denmark while working with Scandinavian colleagues on the 1987 Finnish Birth Cohort that includes all people born in Finland in 1987. That work focuses on the determinants of life outcomes. Professor Malloy is also collaborating with Professor Avraham N. Kluger of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem along with his doctoral and post-doctoral students. Their work is supported by a grant (#2018055) from the U.S. – Israel Bi-National Science Foundation to study Listening in Dyads: Bias, Accuracy, and Meta-Accuracy.
